CHRIS BIRCH, “THE LEMUR”

Lead Guitar, Black Lysted

Where he’s been

Chris Birch picked up the guitar when he was a kid, raised on Guns N' Roses. He spent years sharpening his craft as a hobby, building the tone and attack that would define his sound heard in Black Lysted.

What he’s doing now

Today Chris is the lead guitarist of BLACK LYSTED, the hard-driving modern rock band fronted by Billboard-charting vocalist Rod Black. Known on stage as “The Lemur,” he joined in 2026 and brings the lightning to the band’s sound. In August 2026, Black Lysted signed with Cranked Up Records (distributed worldwide by Virgin Music Group) and released the single “Dangerous.” That same season the band took its show on the road with U.S. dates in Michigan and Ohio.

Black Lysted is Rod Black (lead vocals), Brett Hanson (drums), Daniel Morales Jr. , Chris Birch (lead guitar) and Erik Chirkoff (rhythm guitar).

Where he’s going

Chris is heading into 2027 writing new music with Black Lysted and building toward bigger stages.

His mission: Be frantic and survive.
